Summary:
Remediated CVE-2026-41907 by resolving uuid descriptors uuid@npm:^8.3.0 and uuid@npm:^8.3.2 to uuid@14.0.0 in yarn.lock after Yarn 4.15.0 rejected the package-only set resolution form as an invalid descriptor. Verified under Node v22.22.3 from .nvmrc with Yarn 4.15.0: yarn install --immutable passed, yarn why uuid shows only uuid@14.0.0, and the refreshed production audit contains no CVE-2026-41907/GHSA-w5hq-g745-h8pq/uuid finding. yarn lint passed with the existing single Yarn release-file warning, yarn test:unit passed with 94 tests, and no compile/build or Dockerfile-derived build script is configured. yarn setup remains environment-limited by the global Corepack/Yarn shim network fetch, matching the plan’s known issue. The production audit still exits nonzero for unrelated advisories recorded in yarn-audit-known-issues.
