Aether is an open-source Markdown editor with AI-assisted writing. The goal is to provide a focused and fluid writing experience.

Download the latest .dmg (macOS) or .exe (Windows) from Releases.
- Open Settings → Ghost Writer
- Select provider: OpenAI, Claude, or Ollama (local)
- Enter API key (for cloud providers)
- Start typing — suggestions appear as you pause
