Current better-sqlite3 is ^13.0.3 (N-API), while this historical PR only moves @types/better-sqlite3 7 → 9. That is not the matching major requested by this upgrade. Recommend closing as obsolete after the release merge/close hold lifts, then taking any matching type update separately. No close performed during the hold.

Closing as obsolete per maintainer direction: this historical @types/better-sqlite3 7→9 update does not match the current better-sqlite3 runtime major13 (^13.0.3, N-API). Any appropriate current type refresh should be reviewed separately against that runtime rather than landing this old major9 PR.
