Progress tracker for the per-repository documentation sweep (WP6 of #16). Status: paused by the maintainer on 2026-09-15 after 11 repositories. Resume from here.

How to resume (for the crowsnest or any orchestrating session)

1. Model rule: one repository at a time, one Sonnet worker at medium effort, one Opus subagent only for the adversarial review. Never parallel fan-out. (See the "Course correction" comment on epythet v2: modernization epic (Sphinx 9, README landing, nested API tree, themes, normalizer, validate + ledger, AI artifacts, fleet migration) #16 and the crowsnest-dispatch skill section "Choose the model before the brief".)
2. The per-repo brief template lives in the local user data dir: ~/.local/share/epythet/fleet-sweep/wp6_brief_template.md (placeholders {CWD}, {STUB}, {NAME}, {RESUME_NOTE}). Spawn with crowsnest spawn sweep2-<repo> --cwd <repo dir> -m sonnet -e medium --prompt "<filled brief>"; the first session in a repo may need the folder-trust prompt accepted.
3. Per-repo results and skill-placement records: ~/.local/share/epythet/fleet-sweep/inventory.jsonl (one JSON line per swept repo; feeds https://github.com/thorwhalen/priv/issues/155 and [meta-tooling] Reuse skills as subagents: research, criterion, generator, and broadcasting the rule thorwhalen/opsward#26). The crowsnest ledger ~/.local/share/crowsnest/ledger/epythet.md has the running log.
4. The worker follows the shipped skill epythet-repair-migrate and the docs-migrator agent definition (epythet/data/agents/docs-migrator.md); the behaviour-claim policy is in epythet-docstring-style.

Recurring findings worth knowing before resuming

• The Opus review catches about three unverified behaviour claims per repo in the worker's own rewrites; keep that step.
• Several repos had READMEs describing code that no longer exists (front) or stale committed docsrc/ and docs/ build outputs (py2store, qh, py2mcp); the brief covers both.
• Tool defects found by the sweep were fixed in epythet repair regressions found by the fleet sweep: blank lines inside ASCII-art blocks, Google Args name: + indented body turned into name:: literal; agentic-readme snippet overstates tooling #27 and validate: D412 vs repair, DOC108 vs annotated signatures, D107 vs DOC301 (from qh WP6 sweep) #31; new ones go to a new epythet issue with the offending docstring as a fixture.

thorwhalen/oa state at pause (2026-09-15): branch docs/epythet-sweep pushed (tip 0a2098c, WIP commit on top of 9 real commits); no PR. Work committed: Level 0.5 errors 18 → 0, undocumented objects 82 → 0, README agentic section, theme left auto. Remaining to land: open the PR (a draft body was written to a temp file that will not survive; regenerate the before/after counts), run the Opus adversarial review (the one in flight at pause was not used), apply findings, append the inventory line, squash-merge.
