How do we have a user input iterables: What in python would be lists, tuples, sets, dicts, or more complicated objects.
Each case might have it's particularities and we can chose according to the context -- but we need to have these possibilities handy.
Also, once we have a selection of solutions handy, we can have the default (if user doesn't specify otherwise) be a button that will open a widget that will how the user select what makes sense to them. For example:
- comma separated string typed out (for small lists/tuples/sets -- with an option to turn numbers into numericals
- a component that expands to add new entries (again, an option to convert numericals into numericals if detected,
- for flat dicts: The same as the last one, but with field: val
- upload a file (csv, excel, pickle, etc.).
pandas has a lot of converters (see pandas.read[TAB_COMPLETE] for example) from various formats. We can go from there to list/tuple/set/dict.
When the iterable is a subset of another:
In situations where we need a lit of items from a collection of of possibilities, we can use multiselect (if not too many options).
