This PR was opened by the Changesets release GitHub action. When you're ready to do a release, you can merge this and the packages will be published to npm automatically. If you're not ready to do a release yet, that's fine, whenever you add more changesets to main, this PR will be updated.

Releases

@ian-pascoe/pi-dap@0.10.0

Minor Changes

  • 16eaaf1: Waiting tools end early with a Steer Yield when a steer is queued, so the user's or parent agent's message reaches the agent without waiting for the tool batch to finish. Agent bash calls move to the background as with Ctrl+B. terminal_wait returns reason: "steered" (renamed from "message", and follow-ups no longer end it). terminal_start and terminal_send settle with settle_reason: "steered". subagent_wait returns event: "steered" with the timeout progress snapshot. Pi DAP execution waits report running (wait steered) with execution_wait_steered. A parent's Coordination Message to a busy Child Agent counts as a steer in that child.

Patch Changes

  • Updated dependencies [16eaaf1]
    • @ian-pascoe/pi-utils@0.9.0

@ian-pascoe/pi-lsp@0.15.0

Minor Changes

  • 060d8ca: Cap how many diagnostics requests each Server Instance has in flight with the new optional per-Server-Definition maxConcurrentDiagnostics setting (positive integer, default 2). Document-pull and workspace-pull requests from Post-edit Diagnostics, the Pre-edit Baseline, dependent-file scans, lsp_diagnostics, and workspace diagnostics wait in a first-in, first-out queue per Server Instance, so a server that is costly per request (oxlint with typeAware) no longer saturates the machine and a slow server never delays another. The diagnosticsMs timeout starts when a request is sent, and aborting a call drops its queued requests unsent. An invalid value warns and falls back to the default. The diagnostics reported do not change.
  • 47b232c: Share Server Instances among the Pi sessions in one Pi process, so a main session and its in-process subagents or Advisor sessions no longer each start and load their own copy of every language server. Sessions whose Server Definition resolves to the same command, arguments, environment, initializationOptions, settings, lsp.timeouts, and maxConcurrentDiagnostics for the same workspace root lease one process; any difference, such as a project override only one session trusts, still gets its own. A session takes its lease on first use and releases it at shutdown or when it disables the Server Definition, and the process stops when the last lease is released. A crash makes the instance unavailable in every session using it, and /lsp stop or lsp_restart from any of them stops it for all, each starting it again on next use. lsp_status and /lsp add shared with N other sessions to a running instance other sessions also lease, with a matching shared_with_sessions structured field. A server-initiated edit becomes a preview only when one session uses the instance; otherwise it is declined because it cannot be attributed to a session. Server stderr files now live in a private temporary directory per Server Instance, removed when it stops, instead of in the session directory.

Minor Changes

  • 16eaaf1: Add @ian-pascoe/pi-utils/queued-steer, a process-wide, per-session Queued Steer signal that lets waiting tools end with a Steer Yield. trackQueuedSteers(pi) raises it for user steers and settles it when Pi starts the next turn, raiseQueuedSteer(sessionId) records steers a package sends itself, and watchQueuedSteer(sessionId) gives one wait an AbortSignal that aborts on a pending steer.
