About Me

Hii , I'm Jaidev, a living being interested in how things work.

I enjoy figuring things out, making the machine work with code and farming code with llms.

Stuff I have done

  • Worked at @Unikraft on Kraftkit as a @GSoC'2026 student, integrating the @Hyperlight platform (a VMM).

    • Continued the work of Dan Chiarlone and added a robust Hyperlight machine driver to control the lifecycle of a Hyperlight VM.
    • Wrote unit tests to cover the testable functionality.
    • Wrote e2e tests to test the new functionality end-to-end.
    • Integrated e2e tests in CI to make future development safe.
    • Added multiple examples to the catalogue and a base image for hyperlight to configure Unikraft unikernels faster.
    • Reviewed some PRs.

  • Open Source Contributor at Unikraft/Kraftkit

    • Added support for Kraftfile schema 0.7
    • Implemented kraft set/unset with --force and persistent config writes (#2638, #2907)
    • Added -k|--kernel to save the built unikernel binary (#2616)
    • Added riscv64 QEMU target support (#2900)
    • Fixed CLI path handling: relative workdirs, sudo config path, rootfs/--outdir (#2628, #2630, #2851)

  • Freelance Developer

    • Delivered multiple freelance projects using multiple technologies like WordPress, Shopify and Next.js.

  • Contract based Shopify developer, social media manager and Meta Ads Manager at a clothing startup.

    • Handled the Shopify website of a clothing startup.
    • Managed and posted content on Social Media.
    • Managed Meta ads.

  • Sold digital products via Meta Ads

    • Sold digital products like PDFs and template collections on own WordPress website.
    • Marketed using Meta Ads.

  • Postcribe: AI-powered social media platform for generating, scheduling, and publishing posts across X and LinkedIn.
  • RuchiLetter: This platform allows users to create personalised newsletters with AI-generated content based on specified topics and requirements. The system handles scheduling, content generation, and email delivery through a series of coordinated microservices.
  • Adlyst: The marketplace where advertisers discover premium ad spots and creators monetize their audience.
