Kelvin

Absolute zero. Absolute discipline.

Kelvin is a trading machine under supervision, and the instrumentation that holds it to account. This repository is the hub: what the machine reports, how it decides not to act, and exactly where the published record stops.

The live dashboard is kelvinquant.com.

Machine in supervised training. Every figure Kelvin reports is an indexed demo unit — equity indexed to 100, daily P&L in percent — not account balances. Not financial advice.

What it reports

Four pillars. Performance publishes an indexed equity curve, daily profit and loss, and expectancy. Risk publishes Sharpe, Sortino, maximum drawdown, R-multiple and regime conditioning. Attribution publishes per-strategy status and a machine-decision log. Discipline publishes the two refusal behaviours: it benches negative-expectancy strategies and refuses to trade in violent regimes.

Pillar What it publishes
Performance indexed equity curve · daily P&L · expectancy
Risk Sharpe · Sortino · maximum drawdown · R-multiple · regime conditioning
Attribution per-strategy status · machine-decision log
Discipline benches negative-expectancy strategies · refuses trades in violent regimes

Quoted from the dashboard's own llms.txt, not paraphrased.

The interesting behaviour is the refusal

A left-to-right pipeline. A candidate signal passes an expectancy gate and a regime gate before any order reaches the execution venue. If expectancy is negative the strategy is benched and no order is sent. If the regime is violent the trade is refused and no order is sent. Only a signal clearing both gates is placed.

Two gates sit between a signal and an order. A strategy with negative expectancy gets benched; a violent regime gets no trade at all.

A system whose most important capability is not acting is a system you can actually read. Both refusals are reported. Neither threshold is.

Publish the discipline, withhold the calibration

Two columns. Published: indexed equity curve at base 100, daily profit and loss in percent, expectancy and R-multiple, Sharpe, Sortino and maximum drawdown, regime state and conditioning, per-strategy status, the machine-decision log, and both refusal behaviours. Withheld: strategy logic and parameters, real account balances, the execution venue's identity, API surface and endpoints, credentials of any kind, and position sizes in currency.

Published Withheld
indexed equity curve, base 100 strategy logic and parameters
daily P&L in percent real account balances
expectancy and R-multiple the execution venue's identity
Sharpe, Sortino, max drawdown API surface and endpoints
regime state and conditioning credentials of any kind
per-strategy status position sizes in currency
the machine-decision log
both refusal behaviours

This is the same rule AXIOM follows: the discipline is public, the calibration is not. The boundary is deliberate, and it is written down rather than left to judgement.

No strategy code lives here and none will. The execution venue is referred to only as the execution venue.

On the figures

Everything above is structure. No performance number is drawn, because no indexed export is held in this repository — an invented equity curve would be worse than an absent one, so the curve is absent.

The three figures are generated rather than drawn: real <text> nodes with role, title and desc, solid surfaces, a stroke on every mark, and contrast computed from hex against WCAG 2.2 floors. Worst text pair 5.49:1 against a 4.5 floor. No gradient, glow, animation or rasterisation.
