.apkfile. - Open the downloaded file. If your phone asks, allow installing apps from your browser or file manager for this one install.
- Tap Install, then open Vedic.
Requires Android 7.0 or later. New versions are published here; install a newer .apk over the one you have and your account stays signed in.
Every release lists the SHA-256 of its .apk and of the certificate it is signed with, and carries a .sha256 file beside it.
sha256sum -c vedic-<version>.apk.sha256The signing certificate never changes between releases. With the Android SDK build tools you can compare it:
apksigner verify --print-certs vedic-<version>.apkOnly install an .apk downloaded from this page whose certificate matches the one printed in its release notes.
This repository publishes the Android app's release builds only. It contains no source code, and issues here are the place to report a problem with the app.
