Mahjong Beginner and Regional Rules Guide

A source-linked Mahjong learning library maintained by INEAN PLAY for new players, teachers, clubs, and software agents. It covers major named systems and labels regional variation explicitly; no finite guide can represent every household rule.

Terms that do not translate safely retain the original spelling, a local pronunciation or transliteration, and a short functional definition. Terms with similar spelling, such as Hong Kong fan and Japanese han, are never treated as interchangeable scoring units.
