A complete rendition of chess in the terminal, replete with save and load game functionality.
Run "ruby './playgame.rb'" to start the game.
Requires the 'paint' gem. "gem install paint"
NB: Works best in iTerm2. Will display true color support only in iTerm2, and reduced 256 color support otherwise. You may switch between modes at any time manually by pressing 'tab'.
- Ctrl-C to quit the game
- Ctrl-S to save the game
- Ctrl-L to load a game
- Arrow keys, WASD, or HJKL to move
- Return or space to select a piece and to move it
