いっしょに日本語 (Isshoni Nihongo)

Bridging Cultures, One Word at a Time 🌸

🌟 What is Isshoni Nihongo?

Isshoni Nihongo (いっしょに日本語) — meaning “Japanese Together” — is an initiative and student-led club dedicated to promoting the Japanese language and culture in an interactive, engaging, and inclusive way.

We believe language is more than grammar and vocabulary; it's a gateway to a vibrant world of tradition, innovation, and human connection. Our club strives to create an environment where learners of all levels can explore Japanese in a collaborative and fun setting — together.

From cracking JLPT N5 kanji to folding paper cranes, from practicing keigo to screening anime marathons — if it's related to Japan, you'll find it here.

💡 Our Vision

  • To foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation for Japanese language and society.
  • To help learners gain fluency and cultural literacy through immersive, hands-on experiences.
  • To build a thriving community of learners, creators, and collaborators who support each other’s growth.

🎯 Our Mission

  • 🌸 Language Learning Support: Regular study circles for Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, and JLPT (N5–N3).
  • 🎌 Cultural Immersion: Celebrate festivals like Tanabata, Obon, Hinamatsuri, and Setsubun.
  • 📚 Knowledge Sharing: Resources, quizzes, grammar breakdowns, and vocab decks curated by learners for learners.
  • 🗣️ Conversation Corners: Practice Nihongo with peers in themed discussions and skits.
  • 🧠 Anime & Drama Club: Watch and analyze anime, dramas, and films with language breakdowns and cultural notes.
  • ✈️ International Collaboration: Partner with Japanese institutions, students, and exchange programs.
  • 🧧 Workshops & Events: Origami, calligraphy (書道), etiquette sessions, bento-making, cosplay contests, and more!
