it likely that dav/dav_fs in apache2 need something

"PROPFIND /webdav/ HTTP/1.1"

but

"PROPFIND /webdav HTTP/1.1"

the 2nd one fail for apache2, dav/dav_fs...

Hey, thanks for the note. I'll try to take a look at this next week. Do you happen to know of a public (presumably read only) server I can use to test my fix against?
