Record the completed isolated source-package/manual check for the author-metadata correction merged in PR #255. The validation completed while that PR was being merged, so these notes are a separate follow-up.
R CMD check --as-cran --run-donttestincluding both manuals: 0 errors, 0 warnings, 1 NOTE (unable to verify current time). All 2,980 assertions passed with zero test warnings/failures and 138 expected skips. The 101-page PDF passedqpdf --check. Existing installations were unchanged; checking used a private library, at most two workers, and one numerical thread per worker.The checked archive is
output/release-0.2.2-author-check/run-wbvv4gjx/bifrost_0.2.2.tar.gz, SHA-2569800f576b5ba807e8ffa98da55a87c2a767dcfccd4db6be59a70c8dcaa1eed7a. Only DESCRIPTION differs from the prior checked archive. The generated Author field excludes Julien Clavel; source attribution and mvMORPH paper citations remain intact.Only release-preparation notes and the CI link in cran-comments change. Both files are excluded from package/source archives; the checked package contents remain unchanged. #231 remains deferred. No CRAN submission or release publication is performed.
