Muxing with GPIO works, muxing with PLEDs in plan. Didn't decide whether to put peripheral enabling in pinmux, I think no. But opinions are welcome

If there is some precedent of that in the kernel then i would say yes. Maybe worth checking airoha pinctrl driver since they describe pins like pon, voip (pcm) and such that are not really supported by linux.

Also, i think we should start working on linux 6.18 instead of 6.12 soon enough
since 6.12 is gonna be only for 25.12 OpenWrt
