Basic bench setup.

DC power supply. 12V, minimum 1A DC power source. Prefered to use adjustable power supply.

Standart OBDII socket can be used as well. For general purpose usage recommended to use Y type obd splitter, that may help in reversing, listening to Can bus during some process.

Using mb multiplexer may require switch for kl.15(ignition) at OBDII's pin 1.

Optional usage of can bus terminator (p/n 0025467940) that intended to save your time. Not all units terminated with resistor (120 Ohm) so it must be statically soldered between hi/low lines. Next advantage that you can quickly network more than one unit.
