build_index segmentation fault

I am trying to make indexes for the human reference genome hg19 and every tiem 
i am getting segmentation fault errors.

I am using this command
/usr/bin/time -f "%M %U" /tools/batmeth-1.04_mmx/bin/build_index allchr.fa GTOA


Creating FM index of the genome...
batmeth-1.04_mmx/bin/build_index: line 47: 18603 Segmentation fault      
$CPATH/bwtformatdb $BASE.non
Deleting auxilliary files...


could you help me figure out the issue.
