Thesis work on visible light communication with event driven cameras
If working on this project with a completely new device, or in the case that everything is deleted and you need to correctly clone all your work, do this:
- Make a folder called Lab aka 195 (can be named any name) and clone your repo Event-Driven-Camera-VLC inside of that folder
- Redownload Metavision Studio and recreate the virtual enviroment, steps from their website: https://docs.prophesee.ai/stable/installation/windows.html#sdk-installation. I am using Python 3.9.
- You should have files "metavision_env" and "ffmpeg-8.0.1-full_build" when done with 2. placed in Lab aka 195 folder.
- Clone CSK_VLC repo from jLab GitHub, navigate to and copy/paste the folder pru1_pwm_CSK_1000Hz in Lab aka 195 folder. No other files in VLC_CSK should be copied. pru1_pwm_CSK_1000Hz is useful to have for LED behavior contexts and to see the documentation in a clearer form than in a terminal.
- Your captures are all gone. Easy to get them back just re-record and place them in a folder called "Captures" in Lab aka 195.
- in docs/metavision, add a file named downloaded_pages which will host 13 readable markdown reference pages from the Prophesee website
- Open VScode in Lab aka 195 and resume work as usual
- Do not worry about files in the .gitignore, look in jLab google drive in Event Driven Camera VLC for any documents you may need like "experiment replcation 3.1".
