Pre Install

First things first, you will need to have the latest version of Django insatlled (1.3):

The only other requirement for django-magicthegathering is MySQL-Python which is available from PyPi:

http://pypi.python.org/pypi/MySQL-python/1.2.3

Download Source

Get the latest django-magicthegathering from our version control:

$ git clone git://github.com/jness/django-magicthegathering.git

Configure Application

After you download the source you will need to configure the application using the settings.py:

$ cd django-magicthegathering
$ cp settings.py-example settings.py

Go ahead and edit settings.py with your MySQL Database credentials and save the file.

Sync the Databases

Using the Django manage.py script we can create and sync all needed application databases (including the Magic card info):

$ python manage.py syncdb

Test the Application

$ python manage.py runserver
