Purpose

Prepare Gancho v0.10.0 (build 19). It covers everything merged since v0.9.1: text recipes, off-by-default meaning suggestions and hybrid retrieval, selected context for AI tools, installed-pair translation, the solid newest-first panel, the app-wide review hardening, and the fixes merged in #194–#206.

Changes

  • Version: project.yml is 0.10.0 (build 19); the Homebrew formula template is 0.10.0. The published cask and appcast stay at 0.9.1 until publication.
  • Changelog: ## [0.10.0] - 2026-10-09 holds every entry, with a fresh empty [Unreleased] above it. Entries for fix(privacy): detect cards after non-card reference numbers #194–fix(sync): prevent pending board deletions from being resurrected #206 are listed newest first; fix(storage): preserve malformed Keychain authority #196–fix(enrichment): reject generated titles for superseded content #205 had none and were added (Keychain key, license reactivation, atomic backups, recovery generations, blob ownership, CSV preview memory, current-search paste and welcome Back button, website availability copy, snippet sync bookkeeping, content-bound titles and vectors).
  • Release notes: docs/releases/v0.10.0.md highlights the new board-deletion and card-detection fixes plus a storage/backup/licensing bullet; it states that installed-language translation needs macOS 26 and that meaning suggestions rely on the Pro-only semantic index. Known limitations add that backups leave out text recipes and that backup replacement refuses folders that are not a previous backup or empty.
  • README, PRODUCT-TRUTH and website: present the candidate as unreleased; the download stays v0.9.1. 0.9.1 moves into the recent evolution and the release archive, and check-site.sh knows the new archive order.
  • Hero screenshot: site/assets/v0.10.0-release.png from the hosted ProductScreensUITests link peek, synthetic fixtures.

Integration

Validation

  • scripts/check-version-sync.sh, scripts/check-product-truth.sh and scripts/check-site.sh (including the contrast checks) pass locally on the final head.
  • PR CI (lint, package tests and coverage, macOS and iOS builds) runs on the final head; the full UI test workflow was dispatched on the branch.

Before tagging (owner)

  1. Confirm the changelog date matches the tag day; change 2026-10-09 if you tag later.
  2. Tag v0.10.0 on the merge commit; release.yml signs, notarizes and publishes.
  3. QA the downloaded DMG, then open the alignment PR (release verification section, README/site "available", appcast item, docs that still say "after v0.9.1").

The clip-row identifier also reaches child texts, so the test now asks for
the element carrying the selected trait and checks its label.
Bump to 0.10.0 (build 19), date the changelog, add the release notes and
hero screenshot, and present the candidate in the README, product truth
matrix and website, moving 0.9.1 into the recent evolution and archive.

Summary: This prepares v0.10.0. It bumps MARKETING_VERSION to 0.10.0, build 18 → 19, and the Homebrew formula, and cuts ## [0.10.0] - 2026-10-02 from Unreleased. It adds docs/releases/v0.10.0.md and a new release image, and updates README, PRODUCT-TRUTH and the bilingual site, which now shows v0.10.0 as "in preparation" and adds the missing 0.9.1 log entry. It also includes a small UI-test change.

Verdict: consistent and ready from a metadata point of view. One sequencing question, below.

Ran locally on the PR head, all passing:

  • scripts/check-version-sync.sh: project.yml 0.10.0/19, CHANGELOG top section, release notes present, no duplicate headings, Homebrew 0.10.0, Info.plist expansion.
  • scripts/check-product-truth.sh
  • scripts/check-site.sh, including the release-order list with the new release-0-9-1.

I also checked the new site i18n keys: the English map gains rel.4, rel.5 and evo.v091.* to match the Spanish markup. The README and site copy correctly keep v0.9.1 as the published download.

🟠 Merge order with the open fix PRs

#194, #195, #196, #197, #198, #199, #200 and #201 are open against main. #194 and #195 add CHANGELOG bullets under the current [Unreleased] → ### Fixed / tail. If this PR merges first, those hunks still apply inside the new [0.10.0] section, because their context lines now sit under that heading. They would be listed as part of 0.10.0 even if they land after the tag. Decide whether 0.10.0 ships with or without these fixes:

  • either merge the fixes first and rebase this PR,
  • or merge this PR first and move their CHANGELOG entries back under [Unreleased].

The release notes already promise "a clip that changes after review stops being served". main enforces that for get_clip through MCPContextPack.contains, but the search path is only tightened in #195.

🟡 Nits

  • The release date 2026-10-02 is already stale. Set it on tag day, since check-version-sync doesn't check it.
  • The Homebrew sha256 is still the all-zero placeholder. That matches previous practice, since update-homebrew-tap.sh fills it in at publish time; just confirming it is intended.

I did not review the PanelPrewarmedOpenUITests change in detail; the macOS and iOS UI test jobs are green.
