  • Use Oracle Java conventions for naming.
  • Braces on the same line.
  • Avoid method parameters of the same name as a class member, except for in short stub methods (e.g. constructors, setters, etc) where this.x = x can be used.
  • Interfaces should be prefixed with I (e.g. an interface for Loggers should be called ILogger)
