Is there any way to completely hide the file, as if it does not exist?

Currently, it just applies the "hidden" attribute, if it matches the regex expression. I would like a toggle in the GUI to make the matched files appear to not even exist to the processes, instead of applying a hidden attribute.

I second this - I like having hidden files always showing. A potential solution is to mark the files as system files, as I (and probably 99% of people) keep system files hidden).
