TODO Priority 2 row 1.293: authentication.md's fail2ban claim and rule 9, which it summarizes.

  • Cites, at fail2ban tag 1.1.1 (the pin the guide already uses): the sshd filter and jail already cited, plus the shipped nginx-http-auth and webmin-auth filters (what each matches) and their jails, and that jails are disabled by default.
  • Enabling the relevant jails with log paths that match the service is labelled as this guide's advice. How well any particular login panel is covered, and how easy setup is, are stated as not established by these files.
  • The SSH requirement is unchanged. No command changes. TODO row 1.293 moves to DONE.
  • VERSION and plugin/plugin.json 1.0.694; CHANGELOG entry under 2026-10-19; generated files rebuilt.

Local checks run by the integrator on this head (pinned markdown-it-py 4.2.0): tools/run_all_checks.sh passed (All gates passed.).

…O 1.293)

fail2ban 1.1.1 sshd, nginx-http-auth and webmin-auth filters and jails; panel coverage and setup ease stated as not established.
