Summary

The repo is moving to minimal maintenance and will be archived, but the docs site stays up without rebuilds. Two images on it are still fetched from third-party services on every page load: the full state diagram in design/mutation from plantuml.com, and the contributors image in community from contrib.rocks. If either service changes, the image breaks and nobody will be around to fix it.

The state diagram is now a committed SVG snapshot. The Contributors section is removed, since the GitHub contributors page already covers it.

Changes

• Add public/images/design/mutation-state-transitions.svg and point design/mutation.mdx at it
• Add scripts/snapshot-remote-images.mjs to re-fetch the diagram. It reads the PlantUML source from the existing "Edit on PlantUML" link, so that link stays the source of truth
• Remove the Contributors section from community.mdx

Going back is easy. Run the script to refresh the snapshot, or point the Markdown image back at the plantuml.com URL built in the script.
