IT'S ALIVE. TLDR: just push to heroku and I think it should "just work"
I didn't test with a local version of postgres. I did get it up and running to the point where it was looking for the DB connection. If you're gonna try to run locally, make sure you're running Node 6.11.0 and have a local Postgres running
