Index user and assistant text of locally stored chats in an FTS5 table (transcript-search.sqlite3) that converges on DocsStore snapshots of the workspace's live chats. Refresh is incremental, single-flight, and time-boxed; a covering index keeps the freshness check off the blobs.
The palette warms the engine's transcript index on open, then asks SearchTranscripts on each debounced keystroke. Transcript-only matches follow metadata matches, each with a one-line snippet. A newer query drops the older request, and engines without the method only lose the extra rows. transcript_search_seed seeds a running mock engine for checking this by hand.
A numbered slot would collide with upstream's next migration on any database that ran this branch, and that migration would then be skipped.
