Description
When using the Formula V3 wheel with APM (Advanced Paddle Module) on a ClubSport DD wheelbase, engaging the clutch bite point mode causes the wheel's built-in ITM display to switch into Legacy Mode. After this happens, the full ITM display content disappears and is replaced with a reduced legacy display. This is consistently reproducible and has been confirmed across multiple sims, so it appears to be a general FanaBridge issue rather than being tied to a specific sim/game.
Steps to Reproduce
- Connect ClubSport DD wheelbase with Formula V3 wheel and APM attached
- Launch a sim (confirmed in both RaceRoom Racing Experience and Assetto Corsa EVO)
- Engage the clutch bite point mode on the APM
- Observe that the wheel display switches to Legacy Mode
Expected Behavior
The display should remain in its normal ITM display mode (showing the full set of telemetry/UI elements) when the bite point clutch is engaged, rather than dropping into Legacy Mode.
Actual Behavior
The display switches to Legacy Mode. The exact reduced content differs by sim:
- In RaceRoom Racing Experience: only speed, gear, and shift brackets remain visible
- In Assetto Corsa EVO: only the gear is displayed
Workaround
Briefly entering and exiting the wheel's Setup Menu (via the Setup button) restores the normal ITM display. It then works correctly again until the clutch bite point is used once more, at which point the display drops back into Legacy Mode.
Environment
- Wheelbase: ClubSport DD
- Wheel: Formula V3
- Module: APM (Advanced Paddle Module)
- Sims tested: RaceRoom Racing Experience, Assetto Corsa EVO
- FanaBridge version: 0.7.0
- SimHub version: 9.12.4
- Fanatec App version: 1.5.3.1
- Wheel Firmware version: 1.1.1.1
