providing a base component for carousel as well as a event and artwork carousel. each carousel can be implemented by passing a template component to it. swiping, responsiveness for carousels of multiple elements in a page and the need for discrete and continuous carousels (continuous being a simply slider with state) to be discussed and implemented in another PR
