Summary

Test plan

  • Ran full-field benchmark (all 9 apps + raw baseline) locally, cross-checked byte identity across apps (0 discrepancies)
  • Updated bench/nzb-streaming-benchmarks/RESULTS.md and results.json with the new run

…26-09-09)

Full 9-app run against altmount@026bd939 (post PR #943 warmed-article
hedging). AltMount best-in-class on click->byte, CPU efficiency, and
seek latency among mount-style apps; 1 capability gap (rar-hdrenc-small,
known rar2.9 nested-archive limitation).
nzbdavex couldn't be benchmarked in this environment: TLS revocation
checking blocks the provider connection over port 563, and switching to
plaintext exposed a separate native-library (rapidyenc) packaging gap
in its macOS build. Neither is fixable from this repo, so it's dropped
from the comparison rather than reported as 0/11 failures.
Same reason as nzbdavex: TLS revocation checking blocks the provider
connection over port 563, and plaintext exposed a missing rapidyenc
native library in its macOS build. Not fixable from this repo.
