Reformer

A Beat screenplay plugin that cleans up common formatting issues in your script.

What it does

• Removes consecutive empty lines (keeps at most one)
• Ensures a blank line follows every scene heading
• Joins broken dialogue lines split across multiple lines into a single line
• Uppercases all scene headings

A summary alert is shown when the plugin finishes.

Installation

Copy Reformer.beatPlugin into your Beat plugins folder:

~/Library/Application Support/Beat/Plugins/

Then reload plugins in Beat via Tools → Plugins.
