The aim of this project is to identify which genes contribute to E. faecium sustaining life in human serum. This will be obtained through utilizing the data from the paper RNA-seq and Tn-seq reveal fitness determinants of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium during growth in human serum (Zhang et. al, 2017). (Paper 1)
