Your whole herd, in your pocket.
A mobile companion for the official Herdr runtime.
Herdr keeps real terminal sessions and coding agents alive on the machine where the work lives. Shepherd SSH makes that same server → workspace → tab → pane hierarchy easy to inspect and control from a phone.

Release date to be announced.
Release timing may change while App Review and final device validation are completed.
- Take persistent sessions with you. Check agents that remain active after the laptop or terminal closes.
- Connect directly over SSH. There is no mobile gateway, hosted dashboard, or Shepherd SSH account.
- Keep the real layout. Browse servers, workspaces, tabs, panes, and agent states instead of a rebuilt chat log.
- Control real panes. Send prompts or use a touch-friendly terminal with Escape, Ctrl+C, Tab, Enter, and arrow keys.
- Use the setup you already have. Save profiles for a home lab, Mac mini, cloud VM, or private Tailscale address.
- Start free. One saved server, iCloud sync, Live Activities, and the complete default terminal toolbar are free.
- Upgrade once. Shepherd Pro adds unlimited server profiles, photo attachments, and editable terminal shortcuts.
Shepherd SSH is an independent client. Install and run the official Herdr runtime by following the
Herdr quick start. Source code for the official runtime is in
the herdrdev/herdr repository.
The repository contains the mobile-first promotional site published with GitHub Pages.
- Landing page: https://kojunseo.github.io/sheperd-ssh-app/
- Privacy Policy: https://kojunseo.github.io/sheperd-ssh-app/privacy/
- Official Herdr repository: https://github.com/herdrdev/herdr
The visual system takes cues from herdr.dev—Tokyo-style blues, monospace headings, thin terminal borders, and a restrained grid—while the content and layouts are specific to the mobile companion.
The site uses no analytics, cookies, advertising scripts, or third-party fonts. The app has no developer-operated analytics, account, or SSH proxy service. Server profiles stay on the device unless the user enables optional iCloud sync; SSH traffic goes directly to the server selected by the user.
The complete policy is maintained at privacy/index.html.
This repository uses the herdr-plugin GitHub topic so Herdr's community discovery can list the mobile
companion. Shepherd SSH is an independent project and should be evaluated before installation or use.
