Your images remain yours

Webify Pro is designed around local processing. Selected images, watermarks, output files, and optimization reports stay on your device and are never uploaded by the application. Webify Pro does not require an account and does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics. The desktop application only opens the official LamaTech website when you explicitly choose that option.

You remain responsible for the images you process and for choosing where converted files are stored. Downloads and website visits may still be subject to the privacy policies of your browser, operating system, GitHub, or other distribution platforms.

Developer Guide — Build and Run from Source

Cross-Platform Development

The desktop application uses the same Python source on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Install Python 3.10 or newer and clone the repository before following the command for your operating system.

The Android project requires JDK 17, Android SDK 35, and Gradle 8.9. Open android/WebPProAndroid in Android Studio and press Run, or build it from the repository root:

The generated development APK is located at:
