I am using the latest version of Connectible Chains.
I have looked for similar issues.
MC Version
1.20.1
What is the problem?
This happened on a server hosting the modpack "Homestead" by Tokimi, Cozy Studios
Problem description:
Connecting a chain to any 1 fence to another fence is fine. However when trying to connect a new chain to the previous fence's last interacted end-point (the 2nd time right clicking to complete the chain) it will crash the game instantly without a post-crash pop-up/error message
The server itself stays up, just a client crash. As long as the bugged not-yet-connected chain is loaded in or refuses to break off the player the client will crash again until it is gone.
Weirdly enough, after having crashed 2-4 times the chain will eventually disappear and have a chance to void the chain item you used and trying to place a chain on an already existing chain will magically just work without a crash.
Problem reproduction:
Without fail. Tested several types of fences, all had the same result.
Post-crashing 2-4 times, chains will magically work again as they should.
