PEPS is a software tool for solving Stochastic Automata Networks (SAN)
The current version (2003) is an experimental version. Mathematical basis for SANs may be obtained in the literature. The main limitations of this version are:
- the function compilation procedure has size limitations;
- the grouping procedure is not fully tested;
- the saved files are large (ascii format);
- only continuous-time models are accepted;
- only numerical solutions are available
- large functions may lead to memory problems
The distribution of this software is free, but any changes in the source code is under the full responsibility of the user. Any commercial use of PEPS or modified versions of PEPS cannot be performed without the formal authorization of the authors. Any scientific benefit of the use of the PEPS tool must mention it.
