The code here runs the tradeoff analysis beginning with the density surface model to estimate right whale density, followed by the wind farm construction simulation. The script "tradeoffs_setup.R" loads the necessary libraries, functions, and source code. To run the code, data from the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium is required and available upon request (www.narwc.org).
To run the tradeoff analysis, start with tradeoffs_setup.R and then move to tradeoffs_100_turbines.R. Within tradeoffs_100_turbines.R, the number_of_takes_100_mmd.R is the function that does the bulk of the tradeoff analysis.
