Looking through the git history: The cache was removed in commit 8773c77. The commit message gives some reason for it. Could you add a reference to this commit and some explanation to the commit message? |
In commit 8773c77, the cache usage section has been removed. This commit removes the section that creates the cache.

The callable_cache was created but never used.
I'm not sure where it should be used either.
Once I figure it out, we'll add it back in.
