Hi! Thanks so much for your work on implementing the wireless adapter -- it's super cool and I can't wait to start using it. However, ideally I'd like to play from my 3DS. In this video, one of the devices you appear to be connecting with is a New Nintendo 3DS, so I'm wondering if there are some settings you tweaked in order to make that work or if there's been a regression since that video was made.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Tried running the latest version on both 3DS (downloaded release from site, but also built from source) and Windows PC (just downloaded core). I was running copies of Pokemon FIreRed with different save files on both devices. I was able to enter the Union Room just fine on both devices, and if I initiated the conversation from the PC instance, I was sometimes even able to have full battles. However, anytime I attempted to initiate communication from the 3DS side, the 3DS emulation quickly started stuttering followed by a black screen reading: "Communication error... Please check all connections, then turn the power OFF and ON."
- Tried doing the same process but connecting with RetroArch on my phone. In this case, everything works flawlessly on both ends.
- Tried building some of the older commits and installing the CIAs that resulted from those, but wasn't able to make anything work. That being said, I did not do the same for the PC core, so if there is a version mismatch issue that's on me.
