We're a Python/Django backend shop running on AWS EKS (Kubernetes), with native and React Native mobile clients. A few things we work with day-to-day:
- Backend: Django, Celery, Django Channels, PostgreSQL, Redis, ScyllaDB, ClickHouse, Redpanda
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, ArgoCD, KEDA
- AI/ML: Custom LLM pipelines, fine-tuned models on our own data, live AI bots
- Mobile: Android (CMP), Android/iOS (React Native) — optimised for low-end devices and 2G/3G networks
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Amazon ECR, Devtron, Jenkins
Frugality with high performance. We default to open source and build in-house before reaching for a managed service or external tool. Every rupee saved on infrastructure is a rupee we can invest in the product. We believe that with the right engineering, you don't have to choose between cost and performance.
Simple over clever. We build for a user who may be opening an app for the first time. Every millisecond, every byte, every tap matters more at our scale and audience than it does anywhere else.
Ship, learn, iterate. We move fast — from prototype to production Kubernetes deployments — but we instrument everything so we know what's working.
Bharat-first thinking. Designing for Tier 2/3 India means designing for low memory, low bandwidth, and high trust requirements. We treat these as core engineering constraints, not afterthoughts.
We write about what we actually build — Django ORM optimizations, evaluating and adopting new databases, data engineering, Kubernetes deployments, AI pipelines, and the messy reality of scaling for new-to-internet users.
