Just wanted to make sure you were aware of the https://github.com/aJanuary/concarte/ project, which we've paired with ConClár before. https://map.eastercon2026.org/ is an example of it in action. A separate site is obviously different to an inline-popup, so it may be that you have a different user experience in mind here, but just thought I'd mention it in case it's useful.
