What and why

Part of mac4DSTEM/macEM-suite#81. docs/benchmarks.md drops the session, nightly and (D16) wording. It names the harness files where they actually live (Tests/SpectroKitParityTests/), and the large size reads "not measured yet". The fresh-clone re-run calls the Swift harness, bench.py and table.py directly from a venv with HyperSpy 2.4.0 and exSpy 0.3.2, so it needs no memory-cap wrapper or sibling venv. No number changed.

This overlaps #35 (three lines in the same file); whichever lands second, I re-sync this branch onto main.

Checklist

  • swift test -c release passes (text only; CI runs it)
  • No tolerance changed
  • Docs updated
  • Nothing described as validated that is not

Generated by Claude Code

docs/benchmarks.md states the machine, toolchain, method and numbers only: no
development-process wording, no paths outside the kit, "not measured yet" for
sizes that were not run, and a re-run command that works from a fresh clone.
The numbers are unchanged.

Part of mac4DSTEM/macEM-suite#81

Done: the benchmark notes read as public docs. Next: nothing in this kit for #81.
