This project focuses on the robustness of electricity demand forecasting models during extremely hot days. Exploratory Data Analysis was conducted on half-hourly electricity demand and temperature data for New South Wales from January 2010 to March 2021. The project investigates the role of feature enrichment, heat-aware weighting, and model families in the performance of models on both hot days and all days within a 24-hour prediction window.
