Dosen't show on menu bar

I have tried to install iMCP both through the download link and Homebrew, however it does not show up in menu bar.
It is in the application folder, it seems like it is running because if i try to delete the file it says it can't since the file is open.

Hi @MigiDK, @narner. Same ask as on #156, which is the same report: could you try 1.5.0, and if the icon is still missing, check whether the menu bar is simply out of room (macOS drops items that don't fit next to the notch, and iMCP has no window to fall back to), then attach log show --predicate 'process == "iMCP"' --last 2m from right after launch? I haven't reproduced this on my own machines yet.

Hi @MigiDK, @narner. 1.5.1 may help here; details are in my note on #156. In short: open iMCP a second time to get Settings, and check the new "Show in Menu Bar" toggle, plus System Settings > Menu Bar on macOS 26. Please let me know whether the icon comes back.

Up and running again, thx Matt! iMCP still doesn't show in the menu bar however is loading and working. I've checked System setting, all toggled on. See screenshot, iin iMCP it will not allow to toggle on.

Hi @16lake-star. Thanks for trying 1.5.1 and for the screenshot. The toggle snapping back is a bug on my end: when macOS hid the icon, iMCP saved that as your preference, so switching the toggle on got undone as soon as macOS hid the icon again. #236 fixes that, and it'll go out in the next release. After you update, switch "Show in Menu Bar" on once. iMCP will then keep the setting, try to show the icon on every launch, and say so in Settings when macOS has hidden it.

That still won't bring the icon back if macOS keeps hiding it, and I don't know yet why it does that on your Mac. If you're up for it, could you switch the toggle on in 1.5.1, then run this and attach the output?

Hi @16lake-star, @MigiDK, @narner. 1.5.2 is out with #236. After you update, switch "Show in Menu Bar" on once, and it should stay on from then on. @16lake-star, the Control Center log I asked for above would still help figure out why macOS hides the icon on your Mac.
