This package is not listed in https://plugins.roundcube.net (which seems to be a frontend for https://packagist.org), and so I only found https://packagist.org/packages/texxasrulez/persistent_login which is an outdated fork of your plugin.

It would be nice if this package here would be listed there, too.

I second that - the version by texxxasrulez is a lot older, and the guy behind that seems to be gone - Github shows no contributions to any project during the recent year.

It is listed now in 2026-01, but has no versions: https://packagist.org/packages/mfreiholz/persistent_login
This could be because the tags are named "version-5.3.0" in this repository instead of "v5.3.0" or "5.3.0".

New versions of your package are automatically fetched from tags you create in your VCS repository.
The easiest way to manage versioning is to just omit the version field from the composer.json file. The version numbers will then be parsed from the tag and branch names.
Tag/version names should match 'X.Y.Z', or 'vX.Y.Z', with an optional suffix for RC, beta, alpha or patch versions.
