Additional real smoke passed in isolated HOME: beta installer downloaded the existing 2026.9.9-beta.1 Linux-musl release, verified SHA256, installed it, and both --version and render with fixtures/typical.json succeeded. Provenance was not exercised (gh excluded from isolated PATH). This verifies the installer correction, not the still-unpublished next beta. Awaiting #161 age clearance and fresh green CI before merge. |

Fix beta install instructions: set CLAUDEBAR_CHANNEL on bash, not curl. Verified old pipeline selects stable and corrected pipeline selects beta; bash syntax and ShellCheck pass. Includes existing local changelog entry.
