Hi! I'm Wilhelmina Vanderpool (Mina), a Computer Information Science student at Ozarks Technical Community College (Ozarks Tech).
I enjoy building practical software and exploring new technologies, whether that's developing web applications, designing databases, or learning new frameworks and tools. Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of real-world projects, including a major overhaul of the Ozarks Tech website, where I contributed to a large-scale WordPress migration, helped improve website accessibility to meet WCAG standards, and assisted with content audits and structural updates to improve usability and compliance.
I'm also proud of my involvement with Tech2Gether, Ozarks Tech's technology club. As President, I helped organize technical workshops and community events, coordinated club operations and outreach efforts, and collaborated with fellow officers to plan and launch the club's first annual Hack2Gether hackathon. I also served as technical lead for the club's website, helping guide development and turn organizational goals into technical solutions.
I maintain my personal website, which I built using React and Tailwind CSS and host on my home-lab Ubuntu server. Projects like these have given me experience not only with software development, but also with deployment, server administration, and troubleshooting.
