Summary

  • Add Tanzania phone-transfer channels for M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas (formerly Tigo Pesa), Airtel Money, and HaloPesa.
  • Normalize domestic Tanzanian numbers and international numbers to +255 E.164 form.
  • Add TCRA-assigned prefix guidance and a source note; omit Halotel’s 062 range because TCRA marks it not operational.
  • Keep all four channels manual. The schemas describe payment details; they do not perform or verify payments.

Prefix information is advisory, not a carrier-ownership check. Tanzania supports mobile-number portability, so a number’s prefix cannot prove which operator or wallet currently receives it.

Verification

  • npm run build — passed.
  • Test suite not run.

Move the TCRA prefix allocations, portability rationale, and source
links from docs/tanzania-mobile-money-prefixes.md into contributor
evidence records for the four Tanzania phone channels, and drop the
help-text pointer to the removed consumer doc.

Cover TZS mobile-money filtering, manual automation, Tanzanian phone
normalization to +255, rejection of non-Tanzanian and malformed
numbers, and rendered detail rows.

Thanks @bmosha00, and thanks for confirming the Halotel 062 allocation. We rebased this onto latest main and added two commits.

Why docs/tanzania-mobile-money-prefixes.md was removed: docs/ is the consumer contract. Integrators and agents read it to learn how to use the registry at runtime. Market research and source material now live in contributor records under contributing/, so consumer docs don't grow a per-market research note for every country.

The evidence pattern: contributing/evidence.json holds one record per channel ID. Each record carries source URLs, the claim each source supports, a source-check date, a decision, an optional local market review, and a tracking link. contributing/coverage.md is generated from those records alongside the runtime registry. We moved your TCRA numbering plan, portability FAQ and Yas rebrand sources there, with the hyperlinks restored. The prefix ranges and the 062 note are in each record's notes, and the source-check date is the date of your commit. The help text no longer points to the removed doc. See contributing/review-guide.md for the field rules.

We also added contract tests for the four channels.
