Summary

The Slack agent now sends a welcome direct message that includes one-click Connect buttons for Notion, Linear, Gmail, Salesforce, and Google Calendar. Clicking a button opens an OAuth authorization flow directly, so users no longer have to ask the agent in chat for an authorization link to add these common integrations.

Changes

  • Add a "One-click connect from the welcome DM" section to the Slack agent guide that explains which services are offered, how to use the buttons, and when buttons appear.
  • Reframe the existing chat-based flow as "Ask the agent to connect any service" for integrations outside the one-click list.
  • Mirror the same updates in the Spanish, French, and Chinese translations.

Context

Triggered by a Slack agent change that introduces interactive Connect buttons in the welcome DM and a one-off announcement DM for existing agent-entitled users.

Note

Low Risk
Low risk because changes are documentation-only across multiple languages and do not affect runtime behavior.

Overview
Adds a new “one-click connect” flow to the Slack agent docs, explaining the welcome DM Connect buttons (Notion, Linear, Gmail, Salesforce, Google Calendar), the step-by-step OAuth authorization process, and when buttons appear/disappear.

Renames/reframes the existing chat-based setup as “Ask the agent to connect any service” for integrations outside the one-click list, and mirrors the same content updates in the Spanish, French, and Chinese versions of the page.
