Quantitative sociologist and family demographer studying how family and institutional contexts combine and develop over time to produce inequalities in educational and socio-demographic trajectories. I study education both as a predictor of inequalities in the early family life course and as an outcome of childhood circumstances, and I work on adapting longitudinal, person-centred methods to population-scale register data.
PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam (2023–27) and LIVES, the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Life Course Research (2023–26). I am supervised by Tom Emery and Alzbeta Bartova, and part of the team working on the ERC Childcare Strategies project.
I completed the MPPSC at the University of Tübingen in 2023, and am on leave from the MA Philosophy & Economics at the University of Vienna.
