Why

Two LinkedIn share problems, same root cause: og:image (+twitter:image, JSON-LD Person.image) pointed at the 48Γ—48 favicon, so LinkedIn upscaled it β†’ pixelated logo. And the CV is shared as a raw Mitya_Kurs.pdf URL β€” a PDF has no HTML head, so LinkedIn can read no preview tags β†’ no image.

What

  • Branded 1200Γ—630 share card (public/og-image.png) now backs og:image/twitter:image; Person.image β†’ real 500Γ—500 profile.png.
  • New prerendered /cv landing page (src/pages/cv/cvPage.tsx): CV first-page thumbnail, View/Download buttons, CreativeWork JSON-LD, and its own cv-og.png card β†’ the shared URL renders a real preview.
  • Single source of truth for SEO meta: SeoHead owns it all; removed the duplicated static block from index.html. This also fixes a latent pre-existing bug β€” the prerenderer was emitting two conflicting og:title/<title> tags on every non-home route (about/experience/toolbox were inheriting the home page's social title).
  • Head polish: og:image:width/height/type/alt, og:locale, twitter:image:alt, apple-touch-icon, web manifest, light/dark theme-color, multi-size favicons.
  • /cv added to sitemap.xml + prerender include; nginx serves the PDF inline and caches share/icon assets.
  • scripts/og-image.cjs is a one-off author-time generator (not wired into the deploy build); produced PNGs are committed under public/.

Verification

  • npm run build + prerender βœ… β€” every route emits a single correct og:image (homeβ†’og-image.png, /cvβ†’cv-og.png), <title>, and canonical; noindex on 404.
  • Cards are 1200Γ—630; icons correct dimensions. JSON-LD parses (Person + CreativeWork).
  • 62 vitest tests pass; ESLint + Prettier clean. /cv inspected in light/dark/mobile.

⚠️ Manual follow-up after deploy (cannot be automated)

  1. LinkedIn β†’ Featured: change the CV link from …/Mitya_Kurs.pdf β†’ https://profile.mitya.dev/cv.
  2. Re-scrape both https://profile.mitya.dev/ and https://profile.mitya.dev/cv in the LinkedIn Post Inspector to bust LinkedIn's OG cache.

Fixes two LinkedIn share problems and hardens SEO benchmarks:

- Pixelated logo: og:image/twitter:image were the 48x48 favicon. Add a
1200x630 branded share card (og-image.png) and point all OG/Twitter
  image tags at it. Person.image -> real 500x500 profile.png.
- CV had no preview: a raw .pdf URL exposes no OG tags. Add a prerendered
  /cv landing page (cv-thumb preview + View/Download + CreativeWork JSON-LD)
with its own cv-og.png card, so the shared URL renders a real preview.
- Single source of truth: SeoHead now owns all SEO meta; remove the
duplicated static block from index.html. This eliminates conflicting
og:image/og:title/<title> tags that the prerenderer was emitting on every
non-home route (latent bug that gave about/experience/toolbox the home
  page's social title).
- Enrich head: og:image width/height/type/alt, og:locale, twitter:image:alt,
  apple-touch-icon, web manifest, light/dark theme-color, multi-size favicons.
- Add /cv to sitemap.xml and the prerender include list; nginx serves the
PDF inline and caches share/icon assets.

scripts/og-image.cjs is a one-off author-time generator (not in the deploy
build); the produced PNGs are committed under public/.

Verified: build + prerender pass; each route emits one correct og:image /
title / canonical; JSON-LD parses; 62 vitest tests pass; eslint clean.
